Jason Martinez
Founder and Engineer
Starting in 1989, Jason worked for SoftCopy, Inc. in the Computer Services Group--from there, went on to serve as an IT building technician and Printer Specialist at WordPerfect Corporation. In late 1994, Jason started in the library software industry at Dynix in Provo, Utah--where he was hired as an Installation Engineer. He installed and converted library ILS systems and networks (Dynix and Horizon) all over the country. He has traveled to all 50 states. Some of the library systems he converted and help install were The New York Public Library, Hawaii State Public Library, Anchorage Law Library, Wasilla Public Library System, just to name a few. Jason moved on to the Networking side of things with Matrix Marketing--later became Convergys. He held the position of Sr. Data Network Engineer. Installed, managed and supported over 20 Convergys Networks accross the country--using Cisco and Sun technology. In 1999, Jason was hired as the Manager of Data Communications at Caldera, Inc--which later became Caldera Systems--which later became The SCO Group. Jason managed 12 Engineers in four states and oversaw the entire Network and Systems for Caldera/SCO. He was promoted to Director of Data Communications in 2000. In 2005, Jason was hired back by Dynix/SirsiDynix as the Manager of ASP. In this role, Jason was responsible for the hosted ILS systems for libraries. Jason Installed, Managed and Supported over 200 libraries (1,200 users)--hosted on over 80 servers at a data center in Salt Lake City, Utah. After a few years there and a stint with an IT consulting firm, Jason decided to take all of this experience and started AppDome, an IT services company in May of 2008. Jason holds a Bachelor's degree In Business Information Systems from University of Phoenix. His hobbies are golfing, classic muscle cars, fishing, and hunting.
