Activate the Ability to Send Logs Directly From Your Device

The Diagnostic Logs toggle adds diagnostic logging to your device console log. You can use Xcode, Android Debug Bridge, or other computer programs to view the logs.

To make it easier for you to share the logs with us or your colleagues, Appdome has two other options to extract the logs from the Device:

  • Tap to upload logs (iOS) or Shake to upload logs (Android)

This feature enables fast and easy sharing of logs from the application by shaking the phone.

After shaking the phone with the application open, a dialog box appears with a diagnostics file attached to it. Within this dialog box you are requested to choose how to share the last recorded logs. Easier sharing of diagnostic information enables faster debugging as well as faster problem resolution, which results in a smoother workflow.

  • Tap to email logs (iOS) or Shake to email logs (Android)
This feature enables fast and easy sharing of logs from the application to an email address by shaking the mobile device.
After shaking the phone with the application open, the last logs recorded will be sent to the email of the user who fused the app on Appdome. Easier sharing of diagnostic information enables faster debugging as well as faster problem resolution, resulting in a smoother workflow.

Use the upload logs version if your device doesn’t have an email client or built application that restricts the use of email applications. Use the email logs version if your built application restricts connections. The two options work well together.
