This knowledge base article explains how to extract extended logs that are used for troubleshooting application errors. We strongly suggest not to turn it on without contacting us first as this might affect your application performance.

App’s Extended Logs Capabilities
Users can use the Appdome mobile integration platform enabled apps with extended logs. You can also add other APIs, features, and SDKs to iOS and Android app.
Using Appdome, there are no development or coding prerequisites. There is no requirement to implement Extended Logs in the code of iOS and Android app. Using Appdome, mobile apps will have Extended Logs abilities as if they were already built into the app.

How to Activate the Extended Logs Feature
When configuring your Fused app with Appdome you’ll find the troubleshooting section at the very bottom of the page.
1. Activate the “Extended Logs” toggle, then continue Fusing your app.
Activate the Ability to Send Logs Directly From Your Device
The “Extended Logs” toggle adds extended logging to your device console log. You can use Xcode, Android Debug Bridge or other computer programs to view the logs.
To make it easier for you to share the logs with us or your colleagues, Appdome has two other options to extract the logs from the Device: activate “Tap to upload logs” (iOS) or “Shake to upload logs” (Android), to automatically send your logs to Appdome; activate “Tap to email logs” or “Shake to email logs” to launch the email client with the logs attached to send us or anyone else the logs.
Use the upload logs version if your device doesn’t have an email client or built application restricts the use of email applications. Use the email logs version if your built application restricts connections. The two options work well together.
Sign the Appdome-Fused App (Required)
In order to deploy an Appdome-Fused app, it must be signed. Signing an iOS app and Signing an Android app is easy using Appdome. Alternatively, you can use Private Signing, download your unsigned app and sign locally using your own signing methods.
Deploy the Appdome-Fused App to a Mobile Device
Once you have signed your Appdome-Fused app, you can download to deploy it using your distribution method of choice. For more information on deploying your Appdome-Fused apps, please read this knowledge base.
How to Send Logs Directly From Your Device
Triple-tap (tap three times) anywhere in the app to email extended logs from your device.
If tap to upload is on, the logs are sent internally to our support, a popup will confirm that the logs are sent successfully.
If tap to email is on, An email window will pop-up with the log already attached. The email will be sent directly to our support team.
With the app open, shake the device and select an email client to send extended logs from your device.
