IDAnchor Session Risk is a Customer Identity Protection (CIP) solution that evaluates the integrity of each mobile session by comparing it to the trusted device profile created by IDAnchor. Building on IDAnchor’s persistent Mobile Device ID, it enhances the similarity score with dynamic runtime signals from the device and environment, including root status, emulator use, tampering tools, and other threat indicators. This allows mobile brands to detect anomalies when attackers use valid credentials from unknown or modified devices to conduct fraud. Session Risk helps identify high-risk behaviors such as credential stuffing, synthetic account creation, promo abuse, and device cycling—even in the absence of active threats. Developers can use the session risk score to enforce contextual risk checks and support compliance efforts such as PSD2 and FFIEC, all without relying on PII.
