How to Register Apps in Microsoft Azure Active Directory

Follow these step-by-step instructions on Azure AD App Registration:

  1. Login to Microsoft Azure Portal
  2. Go to Azure Active Directory
  3. Click App registrations
  4. Click New application registration
    Register Apps in Microsoft Azure AD

Azure AD App Registration (without client secret)

  1. Name the App
  2. Choose “Native” type
  3. Fill redirect URI (e.g. org://com.org.all)

  4. After app created, Application ID created automatically

Azure Active Directory App Registration (with client secret)

  1. Name the App
  2. Choose “Web app/ API” type
  3. Fill Sign-on URL (e.g. https://com.test)

  4. After app created, Application ID created automatically
  5. Click Settings
  6. Click keys
  7. Fill “Description” and “Expires” date
  8. Click Save

  9. After app saved, the Value created automatically (Client Secret)
